123TEE.COM QUICKGUIDE FOR "GEEKS AND MACGYVERS"

This quickguide is intended for the use of "experienced users" or those who like the try-and-fail method. Our Teesigner T-shirt Designer is VERY intuitive, so all this quickguide includes is some important information on printing methods and uploading of your own design/photo. :-)

PRINT TYPES

When a design is highlighted in the Teesigner, you'll find a drop-down menu in the lower left corner that will allow you to selct the type of print you want to use on your design. There are 5 different types of print, each with unique qualities and colors:

a. Flex Print - slightly shiny surface and smooth to touch, extremely durable, up to 3 different colors per design (if the design supports it)
b. Specialty Flex Print - smooth and glistening surface, extremely durable, 1 color per design
c. Writable Flex Print - same characteristics as Flex Print, in addition the printed surface can be written on as often as you like with a special marker (included)
d. Flock Print - velvety feeling (like a thin layer of plush), extremely durable, up to 3 different colors per design (if the design supports it)
e. Digital Direct - must be used for multi-colored images such as photos and "complex" designs, not as durable as flex print and colors fade quicker

A general note on the different print types: Not all print types are available for all designs. The Flock and Flex print types (a-d) are only available for designs created using vector graphics and uploaded by our skilled designers. If you don't know what vector graphics are, don't worry. What you need to know is that the above explanation for changing print types and colors will only work if a design is adhering to this standard. Digital Direct designs can only be printed "as is seen" without changing colors and rescaling etc.

UPLOADING YOUR OWN DESIGN/PHOTO

Press the "Upload Design" button to upload your own design. The design/photo you want to upload should be either a .jpg, .png, or .gif file. It also needs to have a minimum resolution of at least 200 dpi (400 dpi for buttons) in order for us to print it on an item.

Please note, however, that not all items are suitable for Digital Direct printing. If your design is barely visible/faded away in the Designs overview, it probably is not suitable for printing on this product. Please select a different product and try again. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause, but it is being done to ensure great quality.
